ABOUT ME

My name is Kelly McNeil, and for the past 7 years I have worked in the field of education as a high school mathematics teacher. During this time, my duties included creating and instructing engaging daily lessons, designing curriculum aligned with the current Common Core State Standards, and developing various assessments, all for advanced Algebra, Statistics, and Geometry classes. In addition to these duties, my roles also included advising seniors in their career and college pathways, mentoring new teachers as they cleared their credentials, and guiding fellow colleagues as the math department lead. During my time in teaching I have consistently contributed to students’ academic successes. Throughout my career I have been focused on delivering positive outcomes in which both my employer, colleagues and students can thrive. I believe the skills and expertise unique to my previous experiences are key in enabling me to generate and exceed expectations. Alongside my B.A in Social Science, Anthropology, I have also obtained a Master’s Degree in Education.
